The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) says it will begin processing partial Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments on Wednesday.

TDHS says an update from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) directed the state to begin issuing 65% of SNAP benefits for November 2025.

Partial SNAP benefits expected for Georgians Tuesday

Relief is expected for Georgia residents Tuesday, but Tennesseans are still waiting for any assistance.

"SNAP customers who were originally scheduled to receive their benefits between November 1–12 will begin to see benefits on November 12th," TDHS said in an update on Wednesday.
