An Edinburgh man was reunited with the man whose life he saved onboard a bus in an emotional chance meeting last week.
Kitch Lewis, 50, was a passenger on the Lothian service 3 on August 23 when fellow passenger Charlie Lawrie became unwell and required urgent medical attention.
The ex-military musician sprang into action and began CPR as his wife, another passenger and the bus driver then took over and helped before paramedics arrived.
He told Edinburgh Live at the time: "I actually still don't know how I did it. I was still doing compressions and when the ambulance crew arrived they took over and had to use a defibrillator so I think they should be available on buses.
"I wasn't even meant to be on the bus. Usually I get the 30 home but something made me just choose the 3 that day
