On Wednesday at 6:14 a.m. a dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 10 a.m. for Jackson County.
The weather service states to prepare for, "Visibility less than one quarter of a mile in dense fog."
"Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result," states the weather service. "If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure light outdoor objects like tents or empty trash bins."
