A professional thief dubbed the "marigold burglar" has been locked up again. Gary Clifton from Radcliffe , targeted homes in the Northwich area.
He commenced his spree just a few months after being released from a two-year sentence he received last year for another spate of break-ins in Cheshire. In 2013 he was jailed for seven years after getting into wealthy homes in south Manchester and north Cheshire to take valuable antiques and collectables.
He got his nickname as he wore rubber gloves during a series of high value break-ins in 2001 and has what police describe as an "extensive history of offending".
