Bill Foley has sold his 25 per cent stake in Hibs to the Gordon family, the club have confirmed. ‌

Reports emerged on Tuesday night that the Bournemouth owner, who snapped up a slice of the Easter Road outfit for £6million back in February 24, was in talks to flog his piece of the Hibees pie . ‌

Now the Gordons have struck a deal to buy the Black Knight Group supremo's share, increasing their stake in the club from around 60 per cent. ‌

Foley had previously accused the club of not listening to his group's advice, publicly admitting that he was not in favour of appointing David Gray as head coach or Malky Mackay as sporting director.

It's understood the American wanted Hibs to act as more of a feeder club to Bournemouth, who top of the Black Knight
