When a South Carolina dad learned his daughter had had an "accident" at kindergarten, he came up with the perfect way to greet her when he got back from work.

Alyson Kenny, a certified etiquette consultant who has been teaching manners, mindfulness and etiquette classes out of Charleston, was on hand to film the moment her husband came home to comfort the eldest of their two daughters, Murphy. The footage was posted to her Instagram, @ chasingcivility .

"Our older daughter had just started kindergarten and wasn’t sure of the bathroom break rules so was holding it all day," Kenny said. "She made it right up until she was about to get on the bus. When she got off the bus, she was wearing different clothes and crawled into my arms and cried."

Kenny said Murphy was "beyond embarrassed"
