Former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, who is living in India, has said that Bangladesh's current Yunus government is running on the support of extremists. She gave an interview to news agency PTI on Wednesday.
Hasina said that I am extremely grateful for the hospitality of the Indian government and the people here. She said that interim government head Mohammad Yunus's anti-India policy is foolish and self-damaging.
Hasina said that her return to homeland is only possible when democracy is restored, restrictions on Awami League are lifted, and free and fair elections are conducted. Sheikh Hasina left Bangladesh on August 5 last year. Since then, she has been living in India.
