BAY CITY, MI — State and federal law enforcement in June served a search warrant on a residence within Bangor Downs Townhouses, finding various drugs, a handgun, and a sizable amount of cash. Amid the illicit substances was an ex-con released from prison only three months earlier.
He’s now federally charged with two felonies that could send him back behind bars.
An affidavit authored by an agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) outlines the allegations against 38-year-old Levern Bracey Jr.
Personnel with the Bay Area Narcotics Enforcement Team (BAYANET) and the ATF on June 6 served a search warrant at an apartment on Quinn Court within Bangor Downs. The Michigan State Police Emergency Services Team was used to secure the perimeter.
