President Donald Trump reportedly lost some support among Republican voters, according to a new YouGov/ Economist poll .
The survey reported that 84% of respondents who voted for Trump in the 2024 presidential election approve his job performance during his second term, while 14% disapproved, totaling a +70 net approval rating. The number is, however, down from the +74 net approval rating the president had in August.
Trump is also reported to have -18 overall net approval rating with 39% of respondents approving his job performance and 57% saying they disapprove in the poll, which was conducted between October 31 and November 3 amid the ongoing government shutdown, the longest in American history.
