WHEATLAND COUNTY, Mont. – The Wheatland County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page has been hacked and is not currently trustworthy, according to a message from the sheriff released through the Westland County Emergency Management Facebook.
The sheriff’s office does not control the account or the posts it made during the hack, the sheriff said.
“Please do not trust any information posted and disregard spam posts,” the sheriff wrote.
The office said it was working on restoring the page,
The sheriff said the Wheatland County Sheriff’s Office would post official information and notices to the Wheatland County Emergency Management page in the meantime.
