Some New England residents could catch a glimpse of the northern lights tonight, Nov. 12

Stargazers in Massachusetts and beyond were treated to a spectacular display of the northern lights on Tuesday night, and the show isn't over yet.

The northern lights, also known as "auroras," have created dazzling shows over the past two years over the region.

You might be able to see them tonight (Nov. 12) as well, depending on whether the skies stay clear, and depending on where you are in New England.

"Aurora may be seen as low as Pennsylvania to Iowa to Oregon," a Nov. 12 watch from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Space Weather Prediction Center.
