Highlighting the heightened fire risk during the cold months, the administration has appealed to the public to strictly follow safety measures to prevent fire-related incidents in homes and commercial establishments.

The advisory instructs residents to switch off or unplug all electrical heating gadgets, stoves, bukharies, and LPG stoves before going to bed or leaving their premises. It also urges caution in handling kangris, especially at night, and calls for storing dry grass, firewood, and other inflammable materials away
