FLINT, MI -- A pair of donations has allowed Crime Stoppers of Flint & Genesee County to increase the reward for tips in a recent animal cruelty case.
Crime Stoppers announced on Wednesday, Nov. 12, the reward has been increased from $1,000 up to $3,000 in the case for tips that lead to an arrest.
A male and female German Shepherd were found on Oct. 28 abandoned in a black wire crate and “left for dead” in Thread Lake off Lakewood Drive in Flint, according to information previously provided by Crime Stoppers.
Both of the dogs managed to escape the crate and were rescued by Genesee County Animal Control. They were emaciated and weak at the time of their rescue.
