Life's simplest pleasures - from spotting a rainbow after a downpour to witnessing a baby's beaming grin or gazing up at a star-filled sky - are what bring Brits the most joy. Research involving 2,000 adults revealed that 28% can't help but grin when they spot a pooch wagging its tail with unbridled enthusiasm, whilst 24% are charmed by elderly couples strolling hand-in-hand.
