A key upcoming hearing in Brian Walshe 's murder case was listed as canceled in error, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office, which said that the hearing is on for Friday, ahead of the expected trial start.

Walshe, who's accused of killing his wife Ana on New Year's Day 2023, was due to have a mental competency hearing on Friday, which was listed as canceled on the docket for Norfolk Superior Court Tuesday. However, on Wednesday a spokesperson for the DA's office said the cancellation entry was an error.
