Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flyadeal is preparing to launch services to India by early 2026, beginning with Mumbai and Delhi. CEO Steven Greenway told Business Today that India’s vast population, growing aviation infrastructure, and strong travel links with Saudi Arabia make it a high-potential market. The airline plans to start operations with 2–3 Airbus A320s, eventually upgrading to A321s as routes mature. Flyadeal has already applied for slots and holds sufficient traffic rights to commence operations. Greenway confirmed the carrier has been in talks with Indian airlines for a possible codeshare partnership to strengthen its entry into the market.
