LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Texas man accused of threatening University of Louisville head football Coach Jeff Brohm, his family, offensive coordinator Brian Brohm, and Cards Quarterback Miller Moss has been extradited to Kentucky and has appeared in court to answer to the charges.
Brian Mandel faces six counts of terroristic threatening and one count of attempted theft by extortion of over $10,000.
The alleged crimes happened Nov. 8 and 9, and the extortion attempt involves Miller Moss. Nov. 8 is when Louisville lost to California in overtime.
Mandel is now at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. His pretrial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Feb. 17. He was given a $100,000 full cash bond.
