Bellevue police say 17-year-old was hit, killed by concrete truck

BELLEVUE, Neb. —

Bellevue police said a 17-year-old boy was hit and killed by a concrete truck on Highway 75 on Tuesday evening.

The crash happened around 5 p.m. near Highway 75 and Cornhusker Road. Investigators said a concrete truck was traveling northbound on Highway 75 and hit a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, Bellevue police said.

Authorities said the crash is still under investigation. Highway 75 northbound was closed for several hours after the crash.
