Move Over!

It’s the law and drivers in Henderson are being reminded after two separate crashes into emergency vehicles responding to accidents after Monday’s snow and ice.

The first accident happened near Green Street where crews were using a wrecker to load a wrecked car and the wrecker was hit by another car.

The second accident happened on the new section of I-69 where a car hit a rescue squad vehicle responding to an accident, injuring an emergency responder.

The move over law applies to all vehicles with flashing lights or warning signals.

It requires drivers to move at least one lane away from a stationary vehicle when it’s safe to do so.
