MAUMEE, Ohio — Some of Maumee's "Free Little Libraries" will be transformed into "Free Little Pantries" during the month of November to assist the community.
The city said in a press release that the pantries, from which the public normally can borrow books, is intended to support community members during times of uncertainty. Four of these pantries, throughout the city, will be stocked with non-perishable foods. Community members are encouraged to stock these pantries with non-perishables, as well.
The pantries currently stocked with food are located at the following locations:
St. Paul’s Lutheran, 112 E. Wayne St.
Clara J’s Tea Room, 219 W Wayne St.
Fort Miami Elementary School, 2501 River Rd.
Fairfield Elementary School, 1313 Eastfield Dr.
Maumee Intermediate School, 1147 7th St
