The Union cabinet on Wednesday condemned the tragic Delhi Red Fort Metro blast and said the probe would be pursued with utmost urgency to bring perpetrators to justice. As many as 12 people died and over 20 people suffered injuries in the deadly blast near the Red Fort in Delhi on Monday evening.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened the cabinet meeting at his official residence in the backdrop of the terror strike in the national capital. The cabinet expressed "profound grief" over the loss of lives in the terrorist attack and observed two minutes' silence in honour of the victims.
