The injury hits keep coming for the Arizona Cardinals .

Already down a number of key starters, head coach Jonathan Gannon revealed on Wednesday, Nov. 12, that wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. underwent surgery for appendicitis earlier in the week. Harrison will miss the Cardinals' Week 11 game against the San Francisco 49ers. His status beyond that is unclear.

Harrison's surgery comes days after the Cardinals announced that wide receiver Zay Jones will miss the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles. That leaves Arizona's top receivers as Michael Wilson and Xavier Weaver.
