YOUNGSTOWN - Police in Youngstown are investigating after a vehicle was disabled on I-680 after being shot at with an automatic rifle, according to a police report.
According to the report, police were called to I-680 southbound near the Shirley Road exit shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for reports of gunfire.
Police spoke with a victim, who told officers he was driving southbound on I-680 when a white SUV he recognized from the gas station he had just been at was following him.
The man told police that as he passed the South Avenue exit, a man came out of the sunroof and started shooting at his vehicle with an automatic rifle.
