RCMP in Prince Edward Island are investigating three suspicious fires that happened in the Miscouche area of Prince County over the past four days.
Cpl. Gavin Moore, the RCMP’s media relations officer, said the most recent fire happened Tuesday at around 10:20 p.m. when the Miscouche Fire Department and RCMP were called to a cabin fire in a wooded area of the community, just west of Summerside.
That incident followed two other fires on Sunday. The first was reported around 2:37 a.m., when emergency crews responded to a fire involving some tires along Route 122.
Just over an hour later, crews were called to another fire, this time an abandoned house along Route 2 that was already engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
