The Super Mario Bros. are getting ready for an other-worldly adventure.
Illumination and Nintendo released the official trailer for "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" during a Nintendo Direct presentation on Wednesday.
The movie brings back the iconic characters from "The Super Mario Bros. Movie," which came out in 2023 and earned more than $1.3 billion at the worldwide box office .
From Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day) to Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Bowser (Jack Black) and Toad (Keegan Michael-Key), all the familiar faces from the video games and first movie are returning for the big-screen sequel.
A couple of new characters appeared in the trailer two more stars joining the cast. Brie Larson voices Rosalina, while Benny Safdie will voice a villain in Bowser Jr.
