Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, who’s facing charges of attempted murder, has been placed under house arrest and was released on a $25,000 bond this morning.
Last week, authorities in Miami announced that Antonio Brown was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Dubai and brought in to face charges of attempted murder, stemming from an incident at a celebrity boxing match on May 16.
According to Curt Anderson of the Associated Press, a judge has placed Brown under house arrest and issued a $25,000 bond for his release. The former All-Pro wide receiver also must wear a GPS ankle monitor.
Brown’s lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, entered a not guilty plea on his behalf yesterday as the former NFL star was being transferred from New Jersey to Miami. Eiglarsh claims that his client was acting in self-def
