GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - A Gibson County Deputy was hurt while serving civil court papers.
The sheriff says it happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 1200 block of North 100 West near Princeton.
He says when the deputy walked up to the home, several dogs approached him.
The sheriff says one of dogs bit the deputy on the leg.
We has taken to the hospital to be treated for puncture wounds.
Gibson County Animal Services have placed the dog into quarantine.
