LEH, NOVEMBER 12, 2025:
As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC), Leh organized a pledge-taking ceremony at Ladakh Rigjung Public School, Leh, to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to promote a drug-free lifestyle among students.
During the event, students, teachers, and staff members took the Drug-Free India Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to stay away from drugs and to motivate others to do the same. The pledge emphasized the crucial role of youth in nation-building and highlighted that real change begins with oneself.
The initiative aimed to encourage the younger generation to take collective responsibility in making Ladakh a model region under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
