Adele, the powerhouse singer known for chart-topping hits such as Hello and Rolling in the Deep, is preparing to swap the stage for the screen, as the Grammy-winning artist has reportedly signed on to make her acting debut in Tom Ford's newest film. The fashion designer-turned-filmmaker behind the picture has directed two films to date (2009's A Single Man and 2016's Nocturnal Animals) but he is now in pre-production on the Adele-starring feature, which is set to be an adaptation of the 1982 Anne Rice novel, Cry to Heaven.
