Actor Nathan Fillion isn’t ready to turn in his badge just yet. The Castle alum, 54, has played Officer John Nolan for nearly a decade on The Rookie, which is now filming its eighth season and he still loves every minute of it. Speaking to People for the 2025 Sexiest Man Alive issue, Fillion shared that while he’s deeply grateful for the show’s success, he’s starting to think about what life might look like after his time on the LAPD beat. “I’d either teach acting — particularly how to act through distraction — or I would do, like, a sunset booze cruise where everybody would still have to call me captain,” he joked.
