Netflix fans can now step into the worlds of their favorite shows and movies at a mall near Philadelphia.

The first-ever Netflix House officially opened at the King of Prussia Mall on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The streaming giant transformed the former Lord & Taylor space into a two-story, 100,000-square-foot permanent venue with interactive attractions, themed dining, and exclusive merchandise.

Netflix hosted an opening ceremony for its new attraction on Monday, Nov. 10, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Gov. Josh Shapiro attended the opening alongside co-CEOs Ted Sarandos and Greg Peters.

Visitors enter Netflix House Philadelphia through a massive red envelope, designed by Philly artist Emily White.

"This big red envelope is symbolic of what we used to do years ago, which was mail DVDs around the United States," Sarandos said. "What we did, even when the technology was different, is that we built fans, and this Netflix House here is to celebrate the fans."

Admission is free and you don't have to be a Netflix subscriber to enter. Guests will need to get tickets for some experiences.

Inside, visitors can explore immersive worlds inspired by Netflix's most popular titles.

The debut lineup includes "Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts," a carnival-themed mystery where guests uncover secrets and play games, and "ONE PIECE: Quest for the Devil Fruit," a pirate adventure that doubles as an escape room. Other features include the TUDUM Theater for screenings and trivia nights, a nine-hole mini-golf course, and a virtual reality zone.

Here are some starting ticket prices at Netflix House Philadelphia:

  • Feature Experiences - $39
  • Netflix Virtuals - $25
  • Top 9 Mini Golf - $15

The space also has Netflix Bites, a full-service restaurant offering dishes and cocktails themed around fan-favorite shows like "KPop Demon Hunters" and World Wrestling Entertainment.

"The Philadelphia region is the perfect place to open our very first Netflix House; a city known for its creativity, heart, and deep sense of community," said Marian Lee, Netflix's chief marketing officer. "From the beginning, we wanted this to be a space that reflects the people and pride of this region, built by local talent and inspired by the stories fans love most.

"This opening marks an exciting milestone for Netflix – we're transforming how audiences experience our stories in real life and right here in their neighborhood. We can't wait for fans to come explore what's inside, be the local place for entertainment, and discover something new each time they come back."

The King of Prussia site is Netflix's latest major investment in the mid-Atlantic. In May, the company broke ground on a $1 billion production hub at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, a 292-acre redevelopment project expected to bring thousands of jobs when it opens in 2028.

A second Netflix House will open in Dallas on Thursday, Dec. 11, with a third planned for Las Vegas in 2027.
