Madina Okot's layup capped the spree and gave the Gamecocks a 55-35 lead with 5:54 to go, and the Gamecocks wound up outscoring the Tigers 20-2 in the fourth.
South Carolina's Tessa Johnson finished with 13 points, while Okot produced 12 points and 12 rebounds. Ta'Niya Latson also logged 12 points.
