BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An annual tradition is returning in downtown Bowling Green.
Each year, the community is invited to see Fountain Square Park light up for Christmas with strings of lights adorning the downtown area. This year, the event is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
While at Fountain Square, community members can enjoy seeing each entry for the holiday window decorating contest, an ugly sweater bar crawl, live music, food trucks and fun.
But that’s not all.
This will be followed by Circus Square Park and The SKYPAC’s Community Tree’s lighting, which will occur at 6 p.m., where families can enjoy Santa’s Village, cookie decorating, a post office, story time and meeting Santa himself, plus other kids’ activities.
Ice skating will also be an option at the Soky Ice Rink
