MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Juneau County investigators are renewing their call for the public’s help in the search for a woman who went missing over two years ago.

Leya Stwart, a mother of four, was last seen walking away from a home on July 4, 2023 , in the Township of Lemonweir.

In a Facebook post Wednesday, the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office is asking hunters, residents and visitors to look out for anything unusual or suspicious as gun-deer season is set to begin on Nov. 22.

The Sheriff’s Office said no bit of information is too small. Anyone with information on her disappearance, or who finds anything suspicious, was asked to call the Juneau Co. agency at 608-847-5649.
