ST RENO, NV — The Needles High School cross country team capped off its season with two runners competing at the 2025 NIAA 2A/1A state championship.

Malibu Phillips finished 28th for the girls team, while Gianna Collier came in 50th. Phillips will have one more year left of racing while Collier turns her attention to basketball as she looks to lead Needles to another state championship.
