JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Friends of 22-year-old Antoine Autry are speaking out after his fatal stabbing on his first day working as a contractor at the Anheuser-Busch brewery on Jacksonville’s Northside.
Police have charged Jason Guthrie, 38, who was also new on the job, in connection with the killing on Oct. 30. Authorities say Guthrie stabbed Autry in the chest before fleeing the scene, though he was later found hiding inside the facility. Witnesses say there was no argument or fight before the attack, but they heard Autry’s screams.
