DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) - Firefighters in Iowa said an Amazon driver might have saved a home from a fire.
The driver was making deliveries on Friday when she spotted the flames.
It was her call to 911 that prompted the fire department’s quick response.
The home burned but is likely salvageable after a fire on the second floor.
“It is just isolated to the second story towards the back of the house,” said Mike Morgan, district chief of the Des Moines Fire Department.
Morgan said the reason the damage is not more extensive comes down to good timing.
