The Connecticut Christmas Movie Trail invites residents to explore the locations of the 22 Christmas movies filmed around the state.

The trail is self-guided, and it is recommended that guests watch the movies of their choice with friends and family before taking the day to explore the iconic spots, according to the Connecticut Office of Tourism.

Some of the movies include “One Royal Holiday,” “My Adventures with Santa,” “12 Days of Christmas Eve” and “The Noel Diary,” along with many more from Hallmark, Netflix and Lifetime.

Each movie has its own curated itinerary filled with a variety of festive spots as seen in the movies.
