LIVERMORE — A man has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a semi-automatic firearm and other crimes stemming from a Livermore freeway road rage incident in June where he allegedly fired numerous shots at the driver of another vehicle, according to authorities and court records.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the suspect, Luis Guerrero, 36. He had been arrested the day of the shooting after authorities said the targeted driver got the license plate of the vehicle he was in, but later made bail.
In addition to the counts alleging attempted murder and assault with a semi-automatic firearm, Guerrero was also charged Nov. 3 with shooting at an occupied motor vehicle, carrying a concealed firearm within a vehicle and carrying a loaded firearm in public.
