The National Highways and Motorways Police averted a potential accident by intercepting a passenger bus whose driver was found driving in a drowsy state. The incident was caught on camera, and the driver was immediately made to wash his face.
A video posted on X by National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) showed the bus driver yawning behind the wheel, endangering the lives of passengers.
According to the police, while monitoring dashcams installed in passenger vehicles on the M-5 motorway, officers noticed the driver appearing sleepy. Legal action was taken against him for driving while drowsy and not wearing a seatbelt.
