LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (WAFB) - An 18-year-old from Mississippi was arrested after deputies say he engaged in “sexually illicit” communications with a Livingston Parish juvenile.

According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, along with assistance from the Office of Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill and the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, began an investigation into a complaint regarding indecent behavior with a juvenile.

“During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 18-year-old Colby Tyler Jones,” said Sheriff Jason Ard. According to Sheriff Ard, Jones is a resident of Foxworth, Mississippi.
