HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Senate adopted the proposed $50.1 billion budget, following up on a House vote earlier today and sending the bill to the desk of Gov. Josh Shapiro, effectively ending an impasse that stretched beyond four months.
Related code bills have also moved through both chambers of the General Assembly, implementing policy initiatives and authorizing state spending.
