The t-shirt contains an illustration of Cantona’s infamous kung-fu kick on a fan, but the supporter on the receiving end has been replaced with an image of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The former footballer was in Derry for a show at the Millennium Forum on Tuesday evening named ‘Eric The King Cantona’, where he took part in a live unscripted interview.
While in the city, the owner of the popular Ferry Clever shop, Chris Ferry, took the opportunity to gift Cantona a t-shirt which is on sale at his premises.
Posting on social media, Mr Ferry said: “Safe to say I’m pure buzzin’.
“Delighted to be invited in to meet the legend himself, Eric Cantona, today and gift him my illustration of the iconic ‘kung fu kick’, created in solidarity with Palestine.
“He absolutely loved it,
