"I'm a black and white type of guy," says Davie White.
The straight talking talent chief - who heads Ayr United's Football Academy - has seen a lot in two decades at Somerset.
Back in 2005, he entered a newly formed AUFA that was little more than a bag of balls and some bibs.
Twenty years on, the award-winning setup is now churning out international prospects.
"That wasn't a thing when I came here," reflects White, as he marked the Academy's big birthday.
"It was never going to happen overnight, but we've got to a point where it's now consistent. For me, when you look at output, that's our biggest success story."
White has been with the Academy since ground zero, initially as a football development officer before taking overall charge.
