Two street projects that total $64.5 million are planned in Joplin next year by the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The bulk of the cost to the highway department of $61.6 million will go toward the repair of Seventh Street, also designated as Route 66. The city of Joplin will provide an additional $6 million for the make over of the heavily traveled artery. The work will stretch from Schifferdecker Avenue to Range Line Road. ×
