A Los Angeles museum co-founded by “Star Wars” visionary George Lucas has an opening date.
The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park will open on Sept. 22, 2026. The museum, which is “dedicated to illustrated storytelling,” has a permanent collection of more than 40,000 works, and its galleries will display pieces from illustrators, comic art, science fiction illustrations, and more.

The museum is joined by other popular attractions at Exposition Park, including the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the California Science Center.
At the San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, Lucas spoke about his massive art collection, as reported by U
