Bill Crawford, an essential part of “The DVE Morning Show” on WDVE since 2012, announced Wednesday morning that he is leaving the show.
“Getting to be a part of the DVE Morning Show has been the absolute best thing that ever happened in my career,” the comedian posted on social media. “I can’t thank everyone at iHeart and all the incredible listeners enough for the opportunity and the support over the years. Hope to see yinz arahnd tahn!!”
Crawford, who started out his journey in the comedy club scene in the early ‘00s, became a DVE regular during that era when Jim Krenn was hosting the morning show.
When Krenn left the show in early 2012, Crawford joined Scott Paulsen as a full-time member of the team that’s now led by Randy Baumann.
