Brits are being warned that power cuts could be on the horizon as a "cannibal solar storm" is set to hit earth tonight.
Predicted to be the biggest geomagnetic storm in more than 20 years, many Scots have already seen the effects of this storm through the gorgeous displays of Northern Lights.
However, power grids could also be disrupted as the intense activity of the storm can knock out many GPS and communication systems.
