Rangers have been urged not to cry conspiracy over refereeing decisions or risked being poked with the same paranoia stick Celtic were. ‌

The Ibrox club demanded further meetings with the Scottish FA after the KMI panel backed up the decision to only book Austin trusty for kicking Jack Butland in the head during the Hoops' Premier Sports Cup semi-final win at Hampden. ‌

This was after an "unsatisfactory meeting" with refs boss Willie Collum prior to the KMI panel verdicts being released, with the Ibrox club reportedly reviewing officiating trends across multiple campaigns and see the latest incident as part of a broader pattern rather than an isolated mistake". ‌

Record Sport has since revealed that Collum will personally back the decision not to send Trusty off
