A primary school in North Lanarkshire is celebrating a double success after receiving a prestigious Gold Sport Award and being nominated for a national volunteering honour.
Kirk O’Shotts Primary School, based in Salsburgh, was awarded the Gold Sport Award in June 2025 and proudly raised their flag in October.
The school has also been nominated for this year’s Sports and Volunteer Awards, thanks to the efforts of its pupil sport leaders.
Headteacher Marnie Hamilton said the recognition was a testament to the pupils’ enthusiasm and leadership.
